I don't understand questioning if a ban list is needed and saying ppl feel uncomfortable at goth night in the same breath, forgive me if i missed the point. Many other measures I take on safety, not just bans, which are bare-minimum commonplaces for every bar, venue and business. There is no room for harassment at my shows. Period. If your friends who felt bad at my events have any advice on where I can improve lmk, there is always room to grow! Not gonna argue more after this about ellison's possible attendance, dumb hill to die on. He could have got thru bouncers it's not impossible, but are you possibly thinking of one of the many events, like freq fest, where I was hired as a stage hand? Seen him around a lot of non-diy events I was hired for. Duhhh I'm gonna check in with shi and not ellison? I have never known ellison personally. Not my say on who's a "monster" or "eligible to change" -- is it yours? I believe it is in our human nature to be good, though, and I try to be good while pointing those around me in the same direction. Not a secret that we hung out a couple times, public ab it online and irl. Me holding him accountable via contact does not affect my shows either, he's not attending. Lastly, I have three total close friends who are kind, honest, a lil weird, and do not fit that description. Do i have other friends I hang around at shows but don't know everything about them? Sure. Do I have a tonnn of acquaintances, many of whom I dislike but am kind to anyways? Ohhhhhhh yeah. Like in my first post, you don't know me<3 if you don't like what I do, continue not going to my events. Got a consistent enough crowd to help pay the travelings bands & that's all I need. Thanks!

Real quick - You did have a ban list at shows prior to Ellison "showing up". After the shows with ban lists started, I literally saw him at your shows..... cmon. It's absolutely understandable to try to help your friends be better people, and to help them grow when you feel like it's possible. However, I feel like it's hypocritical and dishonest to do that in private, while in public espousing everything you can about "holding people accountable" and have a fucking ban list lmao. What makes Kushi "eligible" for growth one year after being exposed as a predator, but not Ellison close to a year and a half after? Which perspective do you have? Is Kushi a monster or is Ellison "growing"? Be honest with yourself. I've seen a few instances of you fucking up, which is understandable as no one is perfect. But be honest with yourself. Do you "need" this ban list to feel like you're doing your job? Are you actually creating a safe community for people? There's multiple people with toxic perspectives, awful pasts and presents in your circle that are not just gonna grow a frontal cortex overnight. I know multiple people that feel unsafe going to your events, because of the people you allow around. Get better.

I wasn't engaging in these forums at first bc what matters to me is that my few close friends, mom and I know I make the effort to keep it real. And a lot of things said about me on here, no offense, prove that y'all don't know me and haven't tried. In no way is it my intent to avoid criticism. I'm quite offline and keep to myself, so I find it more useful to air issues out interpersonally and not on anon forums or ig stories, that is all, no hate to those who do. But this forum led to dms from blank accs tellin me to kms, and it admittedly hurts to know people want me dead over assumptions that some of which aren't true - like sayin I'm friends with quinn? Girl who told u that lmaooo These are the two topics worth addressing: Made a banned list for goth night after the very first event *because* ellison showed up. Everyone else named earlier is also banned now and were guys I just didn't know about. I take safety seriously, partially because I was in the late chs scene 2016-18 as a teen when Creepy Jamie ran all the shows. I learned about awful venue owners real quick :/ And yes Shi is in my life again after about a year of no contact. I wish I could speak to those he harmed, but it seems they do not want the same last I heard, and I respect that. For now, it's okay if helpin someone grow to be better tarnishes my reputation. If it turns out I'm wrong and he hasn't changed, then I'll admit my mistake and end the friendship. Did it once, gave him a second chance since he seems to've learned his lesson, but I'll end it again if needed. If anyone wants a real discussion, y'all know my @ and where I hang. The way in which the story is being presented to most people in the scene isn't "domestic terrorist blows up concrete trucks and incriminates themselves in every way possible" it's "Black trans woman getting arrested for connections to anti-cop-city movement". While it's not untrue, it shows who is trying to control the narrative to make them look innocent to most people in the scene....... get some media literacy y'all there's like a dozen articles out. look up "Jedburg SC Eco-Terrorism"
