nile chose to ignite and vandalize cars and stick around with the evidence on her hands, in the name of ‘stopping cop city’. they had been heavily involved in extreme right-leaning online discourse prior to switching to the other extreme. moss used “trans day of remembrance” to ask for help with nile’s debt without context. kushi hasn’t shown any interest in changing, they hide from the repercussions of their choices. alex sounds to be a victim of kushi in ways, but disappointingly, doesn’t seem to have a good head on her shoulders either. moss has been participating in this whole forum mess, and every time it’s been to distract from any potential attacks on their reputation. i understand wanting to clean up your reputation, but these people are diseased with avoidance and bad intentions. quinn plays the same game. surprise, shady people hang with shady people. they’re all addicted to attention and will do anything but change to rebuild trust with the people they hurt. it’s all a cycle of manipulation and bullshit. there’s a reason these people keep their heads down. shame and guilt for their actions and no backbone to see a better way forward. i don’t say any of this with hate in my heart. i always pray that my peers will make better choices tomorrow. but adults need consistent accountability to change. i always hope that friends will hold friends accountable before the world does, but people often jump to defend and take sides. too many people in this community forget that there’s not that many people in this community. words travels quick, especially when you promote yourself all over town. i respect those of you who have no shame in bringing attention to these issues, too many are afraid to speak up because of the expected backlash from friends of friends. it takes balls that the majority lacks. i want a better community for us all, but that would require real vulnerability and mutual respect. the grown men capitalizing on the community that we all give substance, that’s a separate conversation. names have already been mentioned but i hope you all learn to love and respect yourselves. nobody can give you a roadmap to forgiveness, you have to figure it out like everyone else. i recommend not only acknowledging the hurt you’ve caused and those you’ve taken advantage of, but you need to show real intention to hold yourself to a higher standard. think about why you feel insecure in your relationships, and how you can change that. we’ve lost too many and i don’t think anyone deserves to feel that low, so please be kind to yourselves and understand that i wish you all a more fulfilling and honest life.
